History
History at Goddard Park is taught through a range of units which embrace different periods in time. Our school timeline shares with the children where each of the historical periods sit in relation to one another and builds up over time to reflect the growing historical knowledge of the children as they move from the Early Years through KS1 and KS2.
Trips to a range of local historical sites of interest support bringing history to life for children.
Local history units are also taught in each year group providing our children with a sense of belonging to the local community and knowing how the local community has changed over time.
